Ryan McFadden

McFadden joined the Oredigger staff for the 2015 season. In his first year, the offense saw improvements in many areas. The offensive rushing attack improved 123 yards per game from the previous season and average scoring increased by over nine points to 32.8 points per game. The 2015 offensive line helped pave the way for first team All-America running back Nolan Saraceni. Saraceni led the nation in rushing yards per game with a 161.9 yard average during the regular season. The success of the 2015 campaign also lead to an All-Conference nod for junior offensive tackle Ryan Stemple.
 
Prior to joining Montana Tech, McFadden spent one season as the running backs coach at South Dakota School of Mines and Technology. For the 2013 season, he was the offensive line coach at Simon Fraser University in Burnaby, British Columbia. At He helped develop the offensive line into a very productive unit that produced a 1,000 yard rusher. Offensive lineman Matthias Goossen was drafted second overall in the 2014 CFL draft by the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.
 
Prior to Simon Fraser he was the offensive line coach at Wayne State College in Wayne, Nebraska. During his three seasons he developed six All-Conference performers and helped guide the way for another 1,000 yard rusher.
 
McFadden started his college coaching career at the junior college level at College of the Desert. McFadden is a 2009 graduate of Washington State University.
