Montana Tech Athletics

Skippy Sims joined the Oredigger coaching staff in the spring of 2010 following an outstanding playing career at Tech.  Sims was a four-year starter at outside linebacker from 2006-2009, gaining All-Frontier Conference honors following his senior season.  Sims served as a team captain as a senior and received the 2009 Ed Simonich Award. 

A native of Malta, MT, Coach Sims starred in football, wrestling, and track & field for Malta High School.  Skippy played in both the Class B All-Star Game and the East-West Shrine Game in 2005.  Skippy's younger brother, Logan, is a sophomore offensive lineman for the Orediggers.
