Tom Peterson is in his first year as a defensive line coach for the Orediggers.

Tom graduated from Anaconda High School in 1988, earning First Team All-State, chosen for East-West All Star Shrine game. He played for Carroll College in 1988 and 1989. Tom has been coaching for 19 years, with stops at Butte Central, Anaconda High School, Carroll College, and Central Missouri State University. Tom was selected as the defensive coordinator for the East/West Shrine Game in both 2002 and 2008.

Tom and his wife Dawn Ann (Ogrin) Peterson live in Butte with 5 children; Cody, Chad, Jonathan, Lexi and Sloan.
