Zak Sauve joined the Montana Tech football staff in the spring of 2019 as the defensive backs coach.
Sauve arrives in Butte after spending two seasons as the defensive backs coach at University of Puget Sound. At Puget Sound, Sauve oversaw the development of two first-team all-conference performers and two second-team all-conference defensive backs for the Loggers.
Sauve coached defensive backs in 2016 at Auburn High School (Wash.) under the direction of Hall of Fame Coach Gordon Elliot. Sauve worked as a Football Operations Assistant for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers training camp in the summer of 2016.
Sauve has a Bachelors degree in Sports Management from Washington State and a Masters degree in Intercollegiate Athletic Leadership from the University of Washington.
