Biography
High School: Played for coach Eric Torgeson at Ririe High School in Idaho. Was named Idaho’s 2019 Gatorade Player of the Year as a senior averaging 21.4 points, 11.3 rebounds, and 3.3 blocks.
2021-22: Played in 29 games averaging 2 points and 1.8 rebounds coming off of the bench for the Orediggers during their Frontier Conference Championship season.
2022-23: Played in 33 games for the Orediggers during their Frontier Conference Championship season. Michael averaged 11.4 points, and 5.6 rebounds a game over the course of the year. His season high in points came in the second round of the NAIA National Tournament when he dropped 22 points on Thomas Moore, going 8-11 from the field, and 4-7 from the arc. Michael recorded a season-high 14 rebounds against Warner Pacific (OR.) Michael was selected Frontier Conference Honorable Mention All-Conference.
2023-24: Michael started in all 32 games the Orediggers played this season, averaging 23.9 minutes per game. On the season he put up 12.1 points and pulled down 4.7 rebounds a game. He shot 45.6% from the field, and led the Orediggers in 3-point shooting percentage at 37.8%. On Jan 25th he put up a conference-high 35 points while going 8-9 from the 3-point line. Michael was selected Frontier Conference First Team All-Conference.
