Montana Tech Athletics

Sean Ryan enters his first year as Director of Basketball Operations for Montana Tech's men's basketball team. Ryan works with the coaching staff to prepare and facilitate practices for the team, scouting opposing teams and players, filming practices, and assisting in the day-to-day operations within the team. Ryan is also the basketball play-by-play announcer and conducts post game interviews for Montana Tech's live video streams of athletic events. 

Ryan is also the Assistant Coach for the Montana Tech Men's and Women's Golf Teams where his duties include travel coordination, player development, on course coaching. Ryan was a four year letterman for the Montana Tech Men's Golf Team and played the number two spot on the Oredigger lineup from his sophomore season on. Ryan was a two-time Daktronics NAIA Scholar Athlete and three-time Academic All-Conference honoree. Ryan was honored as Montana Tech's NAIA Frontier Conference Champion of Character award winner his senior season by Head Coach Lee LaBreche. 

Ryan graduated from Montana Tech with a Bachelor of Science in Professional and Technical Communication in 2016.
