2016-17: Started eight games for Coach Todd Phillips at Salt Lake CC and helped the Bruins to a 21-10 record.
 
2015-16: Redshirted at Utah State University.
 
High School: three-year varsity letter winner at Morgan HS (Utah). Led the Trojans to a Utah 3A state title during his senior year and a second place finish at state as a sophomore. Won three consecutive regional championships. Averaged 24.7 points, 3.3 steals, 3 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game. Named Deseret News and Salt Lake Tribune 3A MVP as a senior. Scored in double figures in each game his senior season, including 15 games of more than 20 points and six games over 30. Recorded a season high 39 points against Tooele HS, shooting 76 percent from the field (13 of 17). Named first team All-State as a junior.
 
Personal: Jake, son of Loraine and Kirk, plans on pursuing a degree in Pre-Professional Health.
