Alicia Nichols

Alicia Nichols enters her first season as an assistant women’s basketball coach at Montana Tech. Nichols will work with all the perimeter players as well as handle the team’s travel, community outreach and monitor academic success.

Nichols comes to the Mining City following a one-year stint as the assistant varsity girls coach and head JV girls coach at Brush High School in Brush, Colo. Nichols helped guide the Beetdiggers advance to the second round of the 3A Colorado State Tournament.

Nichols was a two-year letterwinner at Colorado State University where she aided the Rams to a Mountain West Regular Season Championship and a WNIT appearance her senior year. Prior to joining CSU, Nichols spent two years at Northern Junior College in Sterling, Colo. While with the Plainswomen, Nichols was named Region 9 All-Regional Team and Region 9 All-Tournament team.

Nichols, a Brush, Colo. Native, graduated from Colorado State with dual degrees in Animal Science and Agriculture Business.
