Amy Brooks joined the Digger Athletic staff in January 2014.
Originally from Helena, Brooks played basketball at Helena High School earning First Team All-State honors three straight years. She was named Miss Basketball Montana in 2003. After high school, Brooks attended the University of Montana for two years and was part of two Big Sky Conference Championships. She transferred to Carroll College for her junior and senior seasons earning All-Conference and All-American honors. As a senior, Brooks helped lead the Saints to a conference championship.
Brooks earned her Bachelor’s degree in Health and Physical Education in 2008 from Carroll. She lives in Butte with her sons Braylon and Cruz and boyfriend Jordan.
