Kelsey DeWit starts her first year of coaching after a great career as a center for Montana Tech.
DeWit played center in 102 games for the Diggers. For her career, she averaged 10.6 points, 6.6 rebounds and 1.4 blocks a game. DeWit carried a solid shooting percentage throughout her career finishing with 52.6 percent from the field and 72.2 percent from the free throw line.
She was selected All-Conference all four years.
DeWit completed 20 double-doubles for the Orediggers in her four years and broke a couple of records. She finished with 139 blocks more than doubling the previous mark and holds the record for blocks in a game with nine.
DeWit is graduating from Montana Tech this fall with a degree in Business Administration.
