Box Score Butte-The Saints used a big run in the second half to outrun the Lady Diggers 47-41.
Tech falls to (10-8) overall and (2-5) in the Frontier while Carroll moves up to (10-9) and (3-4) in the conference.
Tech lead the entire first half and took a five point lead into the break leading Carroll 15-20. The largest lead of the half was nine. Neither team lit up the basket. The Saints shot 20% from the field and 38% from beyond the arc. The Lady Diggers shot 36% from the field.
Mandy Machinal had 10 points in the first half shooting 4 of 5 from the field and 1 of 2 from three-point range.
The Saints ramped up their game in the second half shooting 41% from the field and 4 of 7 from beyond the arc. They used a 19-4 run that lasted nearly ten minutes to take an eight point lead over Tech with 6:42 left to play. Tech found a rhythm and would pull within one of Carroll before finally losing 47-41.

Machinal would lead the 'Diggers with 11 points, two rebounds and two assists.
Tabitha Tomlinson netted nine and three assists and a pair of steals.
Bailey Snelling would lead the Saints with 15 points, four rebounds and three assists.
Amy Allen had 11 points and five rebounds.
The Lady Diggers are on the road next week when they travel south to Lewis-Clark State College in Lewiston, Idaho on Thursday February 2nd.
