Box Score Dillon-The Western women jumped out quickly and downed the Lady Diggers 66-52 in Dillon.

This is the second straight loss for Tech. Western is tied with Tech now at 4-8 in conference play.

The Lady Diggers were down 35-18 at the break after shooting 22.7-percent from t he field.

Western went 38% from the field in the first half and 3 of 6 from beyond the arc.

The Bulldogs would increase their lead to as many as 27 in the second half before Tech would work it back to 14 for a 66-52 final.

Western outshot the 'Diggers 40-percent to 30-percent and held them to one three-pointer the entire game.

Austrailian Dannii Devenny led Tech with 12 points and three rebounds. She went 6 of 8 from the free throw line.

Laini Kalumbi had ten points off the bench. She had six rebounds and three steals.

Montana Tech has their last two games next week. They travel to Helena to take on Carroll on Thursday at 5:30 PM.
