Havre, MT – The Lady Diggers were swept by MSU-Northern Thursday night 22-25, 18-25, 21-25.

The Diggers fall to 1-6 in conference action and 11-8 overall.

Northern outhit Montana Tech 34-45.

Sophomore Korey Krumm led the Diggers in kills with 10 on a 0.208 hitting percentage.

Shersteen Cline and Sydney Norris had eight kills each. Norris had three blocks.

Kimmy Kavran had 22 digs on the night.

“We executed well in several areas, but couldn't match their blocking or slow down their offense,” said head coach Brian Solomon.

“We were in each set but struggled to match their play on the net late in the sets.”

The Lady Diggers return home next weekend. They face the University of Great Falls on Friday and No. 25 Carroll College Saturday at Kelvin Sampson Court.
