Tech Drops Close One in Great Falls

Great Falls, Mont – It was close all the way to the finish, but the Argos pulled out the victory in the last minute 62-58.

Tech led with just over a minute to play. Miguel Bocachica hit a three-pointer to put the Argos up by two. The Argos would go to the
line after a turnover and that would be the end of the game.

Montana Tech (11-10, 2-5) drops their third straight game going 1-3 on their road trip.

The University of Great Falls (14-7, 5-2) pulls into a three way tie for first place in the Frontier Conference.

Adam Greger led all scorers with 21 points; he had 17 in the first half. He also grabbed five rebounds for a solid effort.

Bryan Bock was the only other Oredigger in double-digits with 16 points and six rebounds.

The Argos were led by Naren Maynard who netted 16 and grabbed eight rebounds.

The Orediggers held the conference's leading scorer, Marcel Towns, to just six points.

Montana Tech faces the University of Great Falls again next Friday at home.
