Helena, MT – The Lady Diggers were outscored by the Saints in the second half falling in Helena 65-48.
Montana Tech (9-7, 2-2) loses their second straight conference game after opening 2-0.
Carroll (10-5, 4-0) stays undefeated in conference action and is currently receiving votes in the latest NAIA Coaches Poll.
The Saints jumped out at the beginning of the game and led the entire first half before taking a five point lead into the break.
Carroll College outscored Tech 37-25 in the second half after the Orediggers for the victory.
Tech had trouble scoring in the second half. The Diggers shot 33.3-percent from the field and only hit one three in the game going 1 of 8.
Kelsey DeWit had a double-double even though she was under the weather with the flu. She had 11 points and 11 rebounds in the game.
Mandy Machinal had 16 points and four rebounds in the game.
Laini Kalumbi shot 6 of 11 for 14 points and six rebounds.
Torrie Cahill led the Saints with 21 points and six rebounds.
The Lady Diggers are in Billings on Friday. They take on Rocky Mountain College at 5 p.m.
