BUTTE – In a hard fought battle, the Rocky Battlin' Bears dealt a tough Homecoming loss to Montana Tech 13-6 Saturday afternoon.

The only touchdown in the game was a 20-yard Bryce Baker pass to Andre McCullouch on Rocky's opening drive. Rocky made two field goals in the second quarter taking a 13-0 lead into half time.

Montana Tech inched back into the game with a pair of field goals by Matt Berg, but could not find the end zone.  The game ended with Herman Tapley being intercepted by Kyle Mai.

Junior Pat Hansen rushed 30 times for 117 yards.

Tapley completed 10 of 18 for 137 yards.

Senior Ryan Jones led the defense with 12 total tackles. Niall Padden had 11 tackles.

Montana Tech (1-3) stays winless on the new Bob Green Field. Tech takes to the road next weekend at Southern Oregon.
