Box Score SALT LAKE CITY, UT—The Montana Tech Lady Orediggers fell to the Eagles of Concordia-Irvine 80-72.
Montana Tech was led on offense by a trio of double-double performances.
Kayla DeWit led the Lady Diggers with 21 points and 10 rebounds while
Kabri Emerson also had a 20 point 10 rebound game for Montana Tech. Sophomore
Martha Dembek continued her impactful play with 10 points and a career high 12 caroms collected.
The Lady Diggers were tied with the Eagles at halftime, 34-34, before being outscored 46-38 in the second half. For the contest Montana Tech shot just 37 percent from the floor and canned only three trey ball attempts.
Janis Peterson led Concordia with a game high 29 points while shooting 9-17 from the floor.
The loss is the first on the season for the Lady Diggers (3-1). Montana Tech wraps up their Utah road trip with an exhibition match against Utah Valley State on Monday night at 7PM.
