Diggers Outshoot Bluehawks for a 102-62 Victory

Akeem Williams had a career-high 14 points
Box Score BUTTE, Mont – The Diggers shot a blistering 70.4 percent from the field and went 13-for-16 (.813) from beyond the arc to defeat Dickinson State Friday night. Tech avenged their 67-57 defeat at Dickinson earlier this month.

With the win Tech improve to 4-2 while the Blue Hawks fall to 2-6 on the season.

All 11 Montana Tech players scored including Adam Greger who led five Diggers in double figures with 17 points. Sophomore Akeem Williams had a career-high 14 points and six assists in his third-career start for the Green and Copper. Guard Antonio Snow added 15 points while Brandon Rydberg and Paul Engstrom contributed with 11 points each.

Curtis Redd led the way for DSU with a game-high 19 points.

The Diggers return to the hardwood on Saturday when they welcome Cal Maritime Academy to the HPER. Tipoff is slated for 7:30 p.m.
