Box Score SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Montana Tech close out the 2014 regular season with an exciting five-set match victory (26-24, 21-25, 25-20, 21-25, 15-7) over the Westminster Griffins Saturday afternoon. With the win, the Lady Diggers earn at least the No.5-seed in next week's Frontier Conference Tournament in Butte.

The Digger defense accumulated 12 blocks and forced 36 Griffin attack errors.

The Orediggers (11-15 overall, 6-8 Frontier) saw Sydney Norris (12k, 12d) and Jordan Danz (14k, 16d) register double-doubles. Korey Krumm had the hot hand with a team-high 17 kills hitting .368 on the day along with five blocks. Setter Makenzie Bauck had surpassed her career-high in assists with a match-high 52. Libero Kimmy Kavran matched her season-high with 42 digs.

Westminster falls to 10-17 overall and 4-10 in the Frontier. The Griffins can finish as high as sixth in the conference or as low as eighth depending on how the night goes. Alexis Aalona led the way for the Griffins with 22 kills and 24 digs on the day.

Tech, winners of two-straight matches, look to continue their win streak next weekend when they host the Frontier Conference on Friday Nov. 14 and Saturday Nov. 15.
