Mandy Machinal did more than her fair share for the Lady Diggers, but it wasn't enough as Montana Tech fell 52-64 to MSU-Northern.
Machinal poured in 12 of the Lady Diggers 24 first half points and finished the contest with a game high 18 points. Machinal was 8-12 from the floor in the contest.
Sophia Baetz added nine,
Kabri Emerson tallied eight markers, while
Kelsey DeWit and
Martha Dembek chipped in six a piece for the Lady Diggers.
A'Jha Edwards scored 18 points to lead the Skylights who shot 50 percent in the contest.
Montana Tech falls to 4-7 in conference and 8-10 overall while MSU-Northern improves to 8-3 in the Frontier and 18-5 overall.
The Lady Diggers take on UGF tomorrow at 5:30 p.m. at the McLaughlin Center in Great Falls.
