Box Score LA MIRADA, Calif. – The Montana Tech Orediggers opened the 2014 season with a sweep of Concordia (Ore.) at the Biola Summer Slam Tournament.

The Orediggers took their first win 25-20, 25-15, 26-24.

Junior Sydney Norris led the way at the net tallying nine kills and hitting for .222. The Washington native also notched 13 digs.

Sophomores Haley Druyvestein and Jordan Danz each had eight kills. The duo only had one error a piece turning in respectable hitting percentages of .538 and .467.

Senior Korey Krumm had five kills in the match and led the way in blocks with five.

The Orediggers take the court again tonight against Cal State San Marcos at 9 PM. The game is being streamed from La Mirada for free. A link can be found on the volleyball schedule page.
