Box Score BUTTE, Mont. – Montana Tech fell to No. 1 Texas at Brownsville in three sets at the end of the first day of the Big Sky Volleyball Challenge. The final scores were 25-22, 25-15, 25-21.

Montana Tech falls to 4-6 on the season after losing to last year's national champion.

Texas lost earlier in the day to Rocky. It was their first loss since December 1, 2012.

The Ocelots led at the net with 44 kills to 28 by the Orediggers. The Texas squad combined for 12 blocks.

Bailie Cornter led the Digger attack with 10 kills.

Sydney Norris had eight kills and five digs in the match.

Vanja Joksic led the Ocelots with 12 kills and a .500 hitting percentage. She also had two solo blocks.

Montana Tech plays again tomorrow at 11 a.m. against No. 18 College of Idaho.
