BUTTE, Mont. – The Montana Tech women's basketball team dropped a 64-48 decision to the visiting Rocky Mountain Battlin' Bears Thursday night at the HPER complex. Tech was ice cold from the floor shooing .246 from the field and just 3-for-19 (.158) from beyond the arc.
Tech (8-11, 0-4 Frontier) was led by senior
Kabri Emerson who had her seventh double-double of the season (11 points, 10 rebounds). Sophomore
Martha Dembek had an all-around game with a team-high 13 points, six boards, three assists and two steals in 30 minutes of action.
The Battlin' Bears (9-7, 2-3 Frontier) was led by Whitney Mitchell with a game-high 16 points.
The Lady Diggers are back in action Saturday when they host rival Carroll College at 5:30 p.m.
