Box Score DILLON, Mont. – Montana Western had the hot hand Thursday night downing Montana Tech 83-60.

The Bulldogs shot 11 for 20 from three and 49.2 percent from the field in the game. Montana Tech on the other hand hit 3 of 15 from beyond the arc and 38.1 percent from the field.

Western had the upper hand on the boards outrebounding Tech 49-34.

The Orediggers led 26-24 after the first quarter but were outscored 22-11 in the second frame and 23-8 in the fourth quarter.

Rachel Ferris led the Diggers with a season high 22 points shooting 9 for 12 and had 8 rebounds.

Molly Klinker had a game high 23 points and 13 rebounds. She was 9 of 14 from the field and 3 for 5 from three. Micaul Hasquet had 21 points hitting 9 for 10 in the game and a perfect 3 for 3 from three.

Hattie Thatcher had 14 points, 8 assists and 4 rebounds.

Montana Tech travels to Billings taking on Rocky Mountain College on Saturday. Tipoff is at 5:30 p.m.
