BUTTE, Mont. – Montana Tech women's basketball set a school scoring record running away with a 120-30 victory over Northwest Indian College.
The Orediggers (3-0) stay perfect in the early season winning their second game in two days.
Tech hit 50 percent from three and 56.3 percent from the field.
Hattie Thatcher had 21 points shooting 8-of-11 from the field and 3-for-4 from beyond the arc. She also had five rebounds and three assists.
Martha Dembek and
Hannah Sparks chipped in 17 points each. Dembek missed just one shot going 7-for-8 and 3-for-4 from three.
Junior transfer
Monica Landdeck had six boards and 13 points.
Kaylee Zard and
Shay Potter led the Diggers in boards with nine apiece. Potter also had 16 points. Montana Tech outrebounded the Eagles 54-20.
Montana Tech hosts Northwest Indian again tomorrow night at 5:30 p.m.
