Box Score LEWISTON, Idaho – The Orediggers knocked off College of Idaho 81-61 in the first game of the Twin Rivers Physical Therapy Classic on Lewis-Clark State's campus Friday afternoon.
After trailing 17-15 after the first frame, the Orediggers rattled off 26 points in the second and third quarters.
Montana Tech took advantage of 20 turnovers by the Yotes scoring 23 points off of the miscues.
The Orediggers hit 40.7 percent from beyond the arc and 77.8 percent from the line.
Monica Landdeck led all scorers with 24 points hitting 9 of 15 in the game and 5 for 10 from three point range. The junior transfer also had three rebounds, three assists and two
steals.
Senior
Martha Dembek had 16 points for the Diggers and added four rebounds.
Hattie Thatcher had 11 points, eight assists and four rebounds.
Callee Remsen led both squads in rebounds grabbing seven. She also had seven points.
Kiara Skinner led the Yotes with 11 points.
Montana Tech has a tough challenge tomorrow night in Southern Oregon. The Raiders are ranked No. 3 in Division II of the NAIA.
