Box Score LEWISTON, Idaho – Montana Tech women's basketball team's late comeback fell short in Lewiston against No. 3 Southern Oregon 83-74.

The Orediggers trailed 47-30 in the first half but rallied in the fourth quarter coming within five points.

Tech shot just 3 for 17 from beyond the arc while Southern Oregon shot 50.8 percent from the field.

Martha Dembek led all scorers with 20 points and nine rebounds.

Autumn Durand had 19 for the Raiders and Toria Bradford added 17 points.

Hattie Thatcher had 14 points, four steals and a pair of rebounds.

Monica Landdeck had 12 points and hit 1 for 8 from three.

Montana Tech is on the road next week at Salish Kootenia College.
