Box Score CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – The Orediggers closed out their Texas road trip falling to Division I Texas A&M Corpus Christi 83-50.

Montana Tech was outmatched in the paint to Corups Christi. The Islanders outrebounded the Diggers 53-29. Tech also struggled shooting hitting just 24.6 percent from the field and went 6-for-20 from three point range.

The Islanders shot 65.5 percent in the first half and 48.8 percent in the game.

Martha Dembek and with Monica Landdeck were the only Diggers in double-digits with 14 and 11 points respectively.

Forward Camesha Davis had a double-double for Corpus Christi with 10 points and 10 rebounds. Davis also had four blocks. Dalesia Booth poured in a game high 21 points shooting 9-of-10 from the field.

Kourtney Coverdell had nine points for the Diggers.

Montana Tech returns home for the start of the Frontier Conference season next week. The Orediggers host Montana State Northern on Thursday at 5:30 p.m.
