BUTTE, Mont. – The Orediggers dominated the second half putting away Rocky Mountain 75-55.
Montana Tech (7-19, 3-12) snap a four game slide and take the season series against Rocky (14-13, 6-9).
Rocky jumped out first taking a 20-15 lead into the first break, but the Orediggers bounced back to lead 33-31 at the half.
Callee Remsen had 10 of her 16 points in the first frame. She finished with eight rebounds.
The Orediggers charged in the second half of the game outscoring Rocky 42-24. Tech continually found the basket completing 61.5 percent from the field and 6 of 12 from three point range. The Orediggers finished shooting 49.2 percent in the game from the field.
Rocky Shot 33.9 percent from the field and hit 3 of 13 from long.
Martha Dembek had a game high 19 points in addition to five rebounds, two assists and a block. She shot 6 for 13 from the field and 4 for 10 from three.
Kourtney Coverdell had 16 points hitting 4 for 7 beyond the arc. She added three rebounds and four assists to her totals.
Whittney Mitchell led Rocky with 18 points, three rebounds and two assists. Tenika Capouch had 15 points and eight rebounds.
Montana Tech hosts their final home game of the season Saturday when Montana Western travels to Butte.
