HELENA, Mont. – No. 20 Carroll College ended Montana Tech's season in the Frontier Conference Tournament Quarterfinal Round 75-63.
Hattie Thatcher turned in a 20 point performance and 
Martha Dembek netted 19, but the Saints kept making shots. Carroll shot 54.7 percent in the game and scored 42 points in the paint.  
Dembek had just four points in the first half but heated up in the second. She went 7 for 11 from the field and 2 for 4 from three.
Carroll led 41-31 after the first half.
The Saints hit 48.5 percent of their shots in the first half and completed 5 of 10 from beyond the arc. The Orediggers held the Saints to just one three pointer in the second half.
The Orediggers shot 43.3 percent in the first frame but hit just 1 of 7 from three point range. The three point woes continued in the second half as Tech went 3 for 11 in from long in the game.
Thatcher had seven rebounds on the night.
Kaylynn Coverdell led Tech at the boards with nine.
Cassidy Hashley led the Saints scoring 13 of her 17 points in the first half and grabbed 12 rebounds in the game for a double-double.
Kaylee Watson and Britanny Johnson had 14 points each.
Montana Tech finishes the season with a 9-21 overall record.
