GREAT FALLS—Martha Dembek's double-double helped Montana Tech defeat (RV) UGF 65-63 Saturday night.

Dembek, playing in front of a Northcentral Montana crowd, scored 17 markers and snagged 10 boards as the Diggers improved to 10-10 overall and 4-5 in Frontier Conference play.

Dembek was 6-for-15 from the floor and 2-for-2 from downtown in the Oredigger victory. Joining Dembek in double figures was Monica Landdeck and Rachel Farris who each chipped in 14 points. Landdeck was a perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line.

The Orediggers were 19-for-23 from the free throw line and shot 21-for-59 from the floor in the victory.

The victory over UGF was Montana Tech's second win against the Argos this season.

Montana Tech returns to Butte to take on Western Thursday night at 5:30 PM.
