Montana Tech outscored No. 11 MSU-Northern 20-7 in the last 11 minutes but it wasn't enough as the Diggers fell to the Skylights 56-52.

Montana Tech was seeking their second straight win over the Skylights in Havre but cold shooting doomed the Diggers. Tech shot just 32.1 [ercent in the game and connected on 3-of-11 three pointers in the loss. 

The Orediggers  went blow-for-blow with the highly ranked Skylights but a tough second quarter in which the Diggers were outscored 16-6 was too much to overcome. 

Martha Dembek led the Orediggers with 15 points and five rebounds on 6-of-12 shooting. 

Montana Tech falls to 9-10 overall and 3-5 in Frontier Conference play. The Diggers take on UGF Saturday night in Great Falls at 5:30 P.M.
