Box Score DILLON, Mont.—The Montana Tech Lady Orediggers fell to No. 16 Montana Western 64-56 Tuesday night.
Montana Tech (8-3) led after the first quarter 15-13 and was tied with Montana Western at the half 33-33.
The Diggers shot 35 percent from the floor and were 3-of-4 from downtown in the opening 20 minutes. The Tech bench scored 14 points in the first half.
Monica Landdeck led the way for Montana Tech with 11 points.
Shay Potter added 10 points and
Kourtney Coverdell added eight markers.
Montana Tech shot just 33 percent as a team and was 0-for-7 from three in the second half of the contest.
Montana Western's Brianna King scored a game-high 24 points for the Bulldogs.
The Diggers fall to 0-1 in the Frontier Conference and host Lewis-Clark State in Butte on Saturday night at 5:30 P.M.
