BUTTE—A big second half for UGF downed the Diggers on Kelvin Sampson Court Thursday night, 77-73.
The Orediggers couldn't buy a bucket for the first few minutes of the second half after shooting the lights out in the first half. The Diggers shot 48 percent from the field in the first half and tallied 42 points.
Montana Tech was led in scoring by
Lukas Vining who scored a career-high 26 points on 9-of-15 shooting including a 6-for-7 effort from the line.
Chris O'Neill and
John Chapman also reached double figures for the Diggers tallying 18 and 15 points respectively.
