BUTTE, Mont. – No. 10 Carroll College ruined the Orediggers attempt to get a win-streak going falling 65-49 to the Saints.
After winning their last two outings, Tech (13-8, 3-6) struggled shooting the ball hitting just 4 of 15 from three point range and 34.6 percent from the field in the game.
The Saints didn't fare well from deep either hitting only 2 of 11 from beyond the arc. Tech committed 19 turnovers to just 12 by Carroll and the Saints scored 20 off of turnovers.
The Orediggers could not overcome a slow start falling behind 16-6 after the first frame. The Diggers trailed 35-20 at the half.

Shay Potter was the only Digger to hit double-digit scoring with 14 points. The sophomore had 9 rebounds while going 6 for 6 from the line and 4 of 9 from the field.
Kaylynn Coverdell had 8 points and 9 rebounds.
Michaela Dowdy led the Saints with 16 points and 5 rebounds. Hannah Dean added 14 and Bailey Pasta had 11.
Montana Tech is home again tomorrow when they host Rocky Mountain College.
