Box Score GREAT FALLS- Struggles in the second half hurt Montana Tech as they fell to University of Providence 71-61 in the McLaughlin Center Saturday night.
 
The Orediggers received a spark off the bench from Sammy McGree who netted 20 points while Shay Potter continued her impressive play in conference action with 12 points and 10 rebounds.

Montana Tech led 42-32 at the half before Providence scored 19 points third stanza to Tech's seven. 

University of Providence shot 48 percent for the contest and got a game-high 24 points from Stephanie McDonagh. Montana Tech shot just 33 percent from the floor and were 5-for-22 from three point land.
 
The Diggers fall to 12-5 overall and 1-3 in Frontier Conference play.

Montana Tech returns to action Thursday night in Butte against Carroll College at 5:30 p.m.
