BUTTE, Mont. – Montana State Northern brought their offense to Kelvin Sampson Court defeating the Orediggers 75-64.

The Skylights shot 48.3 percent from the field and hit 9 of 20 from beyond the arc outpacing the Diggers. Tech hit just 4 of 20 from long while shooting 36.1 percent for the game.

The Orediggers (14-15, 4-13) lose their second straight falling just under the .500 mark on the season. The Skylights win their final game of the season and second in the last five after struggling most of the year.

Tech trailed 23-20 after the first quarter but scored just 34 points the rest of the night.

Kealani Sagapolu led all scorers with 17 points hitting 6 of 10 from the field. Sagapolu also had nine boards just missing the double-double. The Skylights had five players finish in double-figures.

Kourtney Coverdell led the Diggers with 14 points going 4 for 10 from three. Shay Potter had 10 points and seven rebounds.

Kaylee Zard finished with nine rebounds with six coming on the offensive end. The sophomore had six points.
