BUTTE, Mont. – The Lewis-Clark State Warriors came to play and walked out of the HPER Complex with a upset victory 19-25, 25-22, 25-16, 15-25, 7-15.

Montana Tech (12-8, 4-2) drop their second conference match of the season while Lewis-Clark (12-4, 2-2) picks up their second win.

The Warriors tallied 63 kills hitting .202 in the match. The Orediggers completed just 38 kills. L-C State had 173 total attacks to only 145 from Tech.

Rachel Gregg had a match-high 21 kills hitting .283. Olivia Jarvis had 13 kills while hitting .455 for the Warriors.

Masha Korol was the only Digger to hit double-digit kills finishing with 14 and a .131 hitting percentage.  

Heather Thompson and Karina Mickelson had eight kills each and Kacee James chipped in 7.

Sabrina Hopcroft had 22 digs.

Montana Tech travels to Missouri next weekend. The Orediggers face tough competition at the Columbia College Tournament.
