POCATELLO, Idaho- The Oredigger's third game in four days caught up to them on Monday night as they fell to Idaho State 83-57 in an exhibition contest.
Montana Tech hung tight with the Division-I Bengals and trailed by just 12 points going into halftime, 38-26.
The Orediggers shot an impressive 40 percent against Idaho State and were 6-for-14 from three point territory.
Mollie Peoples' 16 points led the Orediggers who also had two other double figure scorers in
Tavia Rooney and
Mesa Williams who scored 11 and 10 respectively. Rooney grabbed a team-high 9 rebounds.
Idaho State's Callie Bourne led all scorers with 20 points.
The Oredigger return to action on Tuesday night when they host Yellowstone Christian College at 7 p.m. at Kelvin Sampson Court.
