Box Score Kirkland, Wash.- The Montana Tech women's basketball team earned a big win over Corban University in the Northwest Classic on Friday afternoon, 81-47.
The Orediggers (4-1) shot 44.9% from the floor in the victory and held Corban to just 32.7% shooting. Montana Tech also saw success from behind the three point line shooting 9-for-16 as a team.
Dani Urick and
Mollie Peoples each made three threes for the Diggers. Urick led all scorers with 19 points while Peoples and
Brooke Heggie chipped in 11 points.
Kaylee Zard and
Mesa Williams also were in double figures with 10 points.
Corban was led in scoring by Jordan Woodvine who had 17 points.
The Diggers play host Northwest University on Saturday at 4 p.m. to finish the Northwest Classic tournament.
