BUTTE, Mont.- An L-C state comeback proved too much for Montana Tech as the Orediggers fell in their Frontier Conference home opener to Lewis-Clark State 89-81 at Kelvin Sampson Court on Saturday night.
The Orediggers (4-5) led by eight points going into the halftime before being outscored by the Warriors in the closing minutes. The Diggers were led by
Sindou Diallo's 35 points while the Warriors were led in scoring by Trystan Bradley's 23 markers.Â
Troy Owens Jr. scored 19 points and
Taylor England added 14 for the Tech offensive effort. The Diggers shot 54% in the first half before shooting 33% in the second half. Lewis-Clark State shot 50% for the contet and were 8-of-11 from three in the second half.
The Orediggers return to action on Dec. 27th when they face Walla Walla University in Helena at the tournament hosted by Carroll College.
