DILLON, Mont.- Montana Tech women's basketball team couldn't find their offensive rhythm on Saturday night against Montana Western falling 67-53 at Straugh Gymnasium.
Both the Orediggers and the Bulldogs traded shots in the first quarter as Montana Tech trailed Western 13-12 after the first ten minutes. Then the Bulldogs found their stroke shooting 50% and 53% in the second and third quarters.

Kaylee Zard scored 12 points and grabbed nine rebounds to lead Montana Tech while
Mollie Peoples also scored a dozen.
Mesa Williams scored nine,
Dani Urick added eight,
Tavia Rooney scored six,
Hailey Crawford and
Celestina Faletoi each added three.
The Orediggers finished the game shooting 30.9% from the floor and were 3-for-10 from three while Western shot 44.8% for the contest. Western's Paige Holmes led all scorers with 16 points.
The Orediggers, who fall to 11-5 overall and 1-3 in Frontier Conference play, return to action on Thursday, January 16
th when they play host to University of Providence at Kelvin Sampson Court.
