BUTTE, Mont.- The Orediggers coasted to another win on Friday evening defeating Concordia University of Edmonton 88-58 at Kelvin Sampson Court.
Montana Tech (7-5) lead by 16 at the half against the Thunder who finished the contest shooting 37.3% from the floor. The Thunder also made nine triples against the Orediggers but turned the ball over 20 times.
Montana Tech finished the preseason contest shooting 49.4% and outrebounded the Thunder 42-to-36. The Orediggers had four players reach double figures highlighted by
Taylor England who had 24 points and 12 rebounds.England finished the night with an impressive 12-for-14 effort from the floor.
Derrius Collins scored 16 points while
Sindou Diallo scored 12 and
Christian Jones added 10.
Montana Tech plays the Thunder again on Saturday afternoon at 4 p.m.
