GREAT FALLS, Mont.- Montana Tech's comeback against (RV) University of Providence wasn't enough as the Orediggers fell 85-71 to the Argos at the McLaughlin Center.
Montana Tech (11-10) trailed UP 23-14 after the first quarter, but was able to cut the deficit to single digits in the second half. The Orediggers shot 45% forthe contest and 82.4% from the line.
Providence, who was led in scoring by Parker Esary's 28 points, shot 50.9% on the night.
Montana Tech's offense was led by
Mesa Williams who tallied 20 points on 7-for-16 shooting.
The Orediggers finish their weekend road trip with a 6 p.m. matchup with Northern at the Armory in Havre.
