HELENA, Mont.- The Orediggers lost traction in the second half falling to No. 17 Carroll College in the PE Center 75-66.
Montana Tech (14-8, 6-5 Conf.) was led by three players who each scored 16 points in
Dylan Pannabecker,
Sindou Diallo, and
Taylor England. The Orediggers shot 47% for the contest and trailed 29-27 at the half.Â
"We got outplayed tonight," said Tech coach
Adam Hiatt. "The  first half turnovers  really set  the tone for the game. We were not as sharp  as you need to be to beat a quality team on the road. We played hard, and we are proud of our effot, but we have to learn to play with consistency in all facets."
Carroll College finished the night shooting 51% from the field and 54% from three. Jovan Sljivancanin led all scorers with 21.Â
Montana Tech returns to action on Saturday at Lewis-Clark State College.Â
