KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced the 2020 Daktronics Scholar Athletes today. Over 10,000 NAIA student-athletes were honored with the academic award.
The Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athlete program recognizes excellence in the classroom for those NAIA student-athletes who are juniors or seniors with an academic standing of a 3.5 or high cumulative GPA.
The Orediggers placed 26 total student-athletes received the Daktronic Scholar Athlete designation. Montana Tech football led the Frontier Conference with 18 athletes on the list. Women's golf placed three on the list tying Lewis-Clark State.
Women's basketball had two athletes on the list. Men's basketball, volleyball, and men's golf all placed one.
