HELENA, Mont. – Montana Tech men's basketball finished of the Comfort Suites Classic with a 90-54 victory over SAGU American Indian College (AZ) 90-54.
The Orediggers (1-1) shot 46.8 percent from the field and hit 14 of 28 from beyond arc. Tech finished 18 of 21 from the free throw line.
Caleb Bellach shot 5 of 8 from the field and 4 for 4 from three to lead the Orediggers with 15 points. Bellach also had 4 assists, 3 rebounds, and a pair of blocks.
Taylor England had 12 points and 8 rebounds hitting 4 of 6 from the field.
Drew Huse was the only other Oredigger in double digits finishing with 11 points. Husse had 5 rebounds and a pair of assists.
Derrius Collins had 9 points and 5 rebounds. Camdyn Larance had 8 points and 6 boards.
The Orediggers outrebounded SAGU 37-28.
Sagu shot just 37.3 percent from the field.
Dane Maggi led SAGU with 17 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists.
Montana Tech hosts Dickinson State next on November 4 for the Montana Tech Tip Off Classic.
