Box Score BUTTE, Mont.- Montana Tech lost a back-and-forth battle with Viterbo (Wisc.) on Sunday afternoon at Kelvin Sampson Court, 70-65.
The Orediggers (0-2) trailed the V-Hawks 17-14 at the end of the first quarter but rallied back to take the lead at halftime, 35-33.Â
The Diggers shot 39.4% from the field while the V-Hawks finished the afternoon at a 46.0% clip.
Montana Tech was led in scoring by
Brooke Heggie's 16-point-10-rebound performance. Heggie finished the game 7-for-12 from the floor.
Mollie Peoples was 6-for-13 shooting on her way to 15 points.

Rooney led the Diggers on the boards with 11 rebounds.Â
