KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) released the final Volleyball Coaches' Top 25 Poll of the regular season today. The Montana Tech Orediggers moved up two spots to No. 15.
The Orediggers (21-8, 7-3) won their last four conference matches to finish league play. Tech finished second in the Frontier Conference standings and received the second seed in the Frontier Conference Tournament this weekend.
Providence is the only other school in the Coaches Top 25. The Argos moved into No. 5 after being ranked No. 8 in the last poll.
With the second seed, the Orediggers get a first round bye. Tech plays the highest seed after the first round at 5 p.m. on Friday. The Frontier Conference Tournament is held in Helena at the P.E. Center on the campus of Carroll College.
The winner of the conference tournament receives an automatic bye into the NAIA National Tournament. The first round of the tournament is November 20th at host sites. The winners of the first round move on to the final site at Sioux City, Iowa.
