BUTTE, Mont.- The Orediggers escaped Kelvin Sampson Court with a 65-64 victory over MSU-Northern with a blocked three point attempt at the buzzer.
The Diggers (12-9, 12-7 Conf.) were led by
Sindou Diallo's 19 point night while
Drew Huse scored 13 and
Derrius Collins added 8.
Cody Baumstarck and
Markieth Brown Jr. added 6,
Taylor England and
Cody Liles scored 5,
Nate Ward scored 2, and
Bridger Larson added 1.
Montana Tech shot 53.2 percent from the floor despite an 0-for-7 effort from three. Northern shot 55.6 percent for the evening. CJ Evans led the Lights with a 7-for-9 effort for 18 points.
The Orediggers picked up their 12th win in Frontier Conference play, tying Montana Tech's 1997-98 team who finished the season who finished conference play with 12 wins.
Montana Tech returns to the floor tomorrow afternoon to take on the Lights at 4 p.m.
